Verdani Partners is a Certified B Corp™

In April 2023, Verdani joined a community of over 6,800 companies in 90 countries and across 161 industries that have pledged to use business as a force for good®. By earning B Corp Certification™, we have been verified as meeting B Lab’s high standards for social and environmental impact, have made a legal commitment to stakeholder governance, and are demonstrating accountability and transparency by disclosing this record of performance in our public B Corp profile.

Verdani earned a score of 105 on the assessment, with the highest marks in the Governance, Workers, and Customers impact areas. Our strong focus on employee satisfaction, commitment to ongoing training and professional development, and generous benefits and profit-sharing programs significantly contributed to our Workers impact score. Our dedication to our mission of accelerating sustainability in the built environment was key to achieving a high Governance score. Additionally, Verdani's consulting services, which deliver increased ESG impact for clients and align with third-party frameworks like GRESB® and PRI, earned points in the Customers impact area for this “impact business model.”

Commitments

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, supported by all 193 U.N. Member States. These 17 goals cover Economic Growth, Social Inclusion, and Environmental Protection, with 169 targets aimed at universal development. The SDGs are widely adopted across public and private sectors.

Many companies already report on SDG areas like climate change and water management. Verdani Partners helps clients adopt an SDG framework to assess impacts, measure ESG performance, and integrate SDGs into corporate reporting. Learn more about SDG guidelines and see our clients' aligned goals in their annual reports.

1% for the Planet® represents a global network of businesses, individuals and nonprofit organizations tackling our planet's most pressing environmental issues. Verdani Technical Services (VTS) donates at least 1% of our annual net profits toward environmental causes that we believe in and that can make a positive impact. Primarily, our donations support the work of our non-profit organization, Verdani Institute for the Built Environment (VIBE), and will continue to support other important causes.

Verdani Partners is proud to be nationally certified as a Women/Minority Business Enterprise (WMBE) certified by The Supplier Clearinghouse, which publishes a directory for use by participating utility companies and the public. These activities are governed by General Order 156 of the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC). The program provides certified MBE, WBE, DVBE, and LGBTBE firms the opportunity to participate in a wide range of business opportunities.
