The 2025 Greenbuild International Conference + Expo kicks off this week and, once again, Verdani is excited to participate not only with the attendance of several Verdani employees, but also by providing speakers at Greenbuild and its associated events. This year´s conference takes place in Los Angeles, less than two hours away from our headquarters in Carlsbad; we look forward to connecting with other sustainability professionals and welcoming them to Southern California.
Starting off on Monday, November 3rd, is the Verdani-sponsored Sustainable Finance & Investing Forum, which our Founder & CEO Daniele Horton will be speaking, and COO Jessica Loeper, and Senior Director of Sustainability & Head of Resilience Dana Weiss will be hosting roundtables. On Tuesday, November 4th we are partnering with our non-profit VIBE (Verdani Institute for the Built Environment), among others, to host the Sustainable Buildings Collaborative (SBC) — Americas roundtable event. We are also pleased that our Associate Director of Certifications Samantha Varela Shireman will be speaking on the Bold Ideas for Existing Buildings Panel at Greenbuild.
We anticipate a great conference this year, with keynotes from actor and activist Julia Louis-Dreyfus, organizer and President & CEO of The Solutions Project Gloria Walton, and Chief Sustainability Officer for the County of Los Angeles Rita Kampalath.
This annual conference serves as the marquee event focused on sustainability in the built environment, and Verdani is proud of its strong presence each year.
