CLIMATE REALITY LEADERSHIP CORP. AND FOUNDING MEMBER, WORLD BUILDING INSTITUTEPaulynn Cue
LEADERSHIP, BUSINESS, COMMUNICATIONS, AND OPERATIONS
Paulynn Cue is the Chief Communications and Business Officer at Verdani Partners, where she leads the firm's Revenue & Performance function alongside communications, brand strategy, and business development. One of three C-suite members, she is responsible for Verdani's revenue strategy, pipeline infrastructure, market positioning, and organizational performance — building the systems and frameworks that connect strategy to execution and growth.
Since joining Verdani in 2014 as a graphic designer for ESG annual reporting, Paulynn has built two functions from the ground up: the Communications Department, established in 2019, and the Revenue & Performance function, launched in 2025. She closed Verdani's largest client engagement to date, led the firm's first institutional investor DDQ, and has contributed to every major strategic initiative across the firm's over a decade of growth. Her work sits at the intersection of business strategy, revenue performance, business intelligence, and communications — grounded in a conviction that clarity is strategic, and that how an idea is communicated is inextricably linked to how it performs.
Earlier in her career, Paulynn led strategic initiatives across sustainable development, community finance, and real estate. As Chief Creative Officer at Unified Field Corporation, she co-authored business plans for Unified Field Bank, a quadruple bottom line community banking venture designed to use deposits to fund local infrastructure across food systems, renewable energy, affordable housing, and community wellness. As Chief Strategy Officer for Régénérer, she co-authored the Conceptual Master Plan for a 2,500-acre, carbon-positive mixed-use development in Haiti's Central Plateau — a $400 million, 10-year regenerative agriculture community planned for 50,000 residents. She also served as a founding Director of Strategic Planning for the Sustainable Development Commission of the Intergovernmental Renewable Energy Organization, and led a three-year initiative to develop an eco-village for orphans in South Africa integrating earth architecture techniques inspired by the Cal-Earth Institute.
A co-founding member and producer of the World Building Institute (formerly 5D Conference), Paulynn developed, curated, and produced the Design is Change program — a TED-style speaker series exploring storytelling, design, and sustainable futures, featuring renown leaders including oceanographer Sylvia Earle, MoMA Design Director Paola Antonelli, and writer and futurist Stewart Brand.
Before Verdani, Paulynn served as Team Lead and Systems Designer at Gensler in their Information Solutions business unit, managing architecture and real estate asset management systems for Fortune 100 clients including DreamWorks, Bank of America, and the City of Los Angeles. She also ran an independent creative practice for over 20 years, providing creative direction and design to more than 150 clients across architecture, real estate, entertainment, and social impact.
Paulynn's educational background spans architecture and graphic design at Carnegie Mellon University, advertising at New York University, and environmental design at Parsons School of Design. She also completed a specialized program at the California Institute for Social Business, developed in collaboration with Nobel Peace Prize laureate Muhammad Yunus, at California State University Channel Islands.
