Chika has over six years of experience driving the growth of sustainability programs in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors.

His career has spanned various industries such as higher education, healthcare, local government and, more recently, commercial real estate. As Verdani’s Associate Director of Corporate ESG, Chika supports the implementation of ESG initiatives for two of Verdani’s publicly traded clients, and he enjoys seeing organizations make real progress on their sustainability journeys. In his role with Verdani, Chika is responsible for managing sustainability reporting, tenant and employee engagement, climate risk assessments, and special projects. Chika also serves as chair of Verdani’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee. He received a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Washington and holds FSA, LEED Green Associate, and Fitwel Ambassador credentials.
