| | | | | | The 2024 summer issue of Verdani Vitals reflects on the exciting strides we have made with our clients toward a more sustainable built environment. Over the past several months, we’ve marked our one-year anniversary in our new office, welcomed several new clients, published multiple comprehensive client annual ESG reports, and achieved our highest number of GRESB submissions to date. Looking ahead, we are excited to celebrate our 12th anniversary this month, publish additional annual reports, and eagerly anticipate the release of our client’s GRESB results in October. At Verdani, we are committed to continuously expanding industry knowledge within our team, for our clients, and throughout the sector. Our business development team attended the Information Management Network (IMN) ESG Conference in July where our Senior Director of ESG and Head of Resilience Dana Weiss was on the panel Risk Management & Resilience: How to Address Where Insurers Fall Short. Upcoming this fall, we expect team engagement at key events such as Climate Week NYC, Net Zero 2024, and Greenbuild. Our ESG teams are actively collaborating with clients on their 2025 sustainability budget recommendations for efficiency projects and green building certifications, while also driving year-end tenant engagement through impactful awareness campaigns.
As we continue to advance our mission to empower organizations with cost-effective strategies for creating sustainable buildings and communities, our enthusiasm only grows. We're excited to share our Summer of Sustainability issue and hope you'll stay tuned for our upcoming GRESB Results edition next month!

| | Verdani Partners is dedicated to advancing decarbonization efforts across the commercial real estate industry and reducing overall operational emissions. |
| | Air is a vital resource essential to our collective well-being, and at Verdani, we believe everyone should take action to reduce emissions for improved air quality and climate stability. Global activities, particularly in construction and building management, have significantly contributed to the excess carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. This dramatic rise in emissions has fueled climate change, altered habitats, and intensified geopolitical tensions. To ensure a stable climate and a healthy and prosperous future for generations to come, reducing emissions is a crucial step toward securing our shared future. |

| | | | One Year Anniversary of Verdani’s Headquarters |
| As we celebrate the anniversary of our new office space, we reflect on the vital role environmental stewardship plays in our workplace and beyond. By investing in smarter energy and water use, reducing waste, and improving indoor air quality, we enhance our employees' well-being and contribute to a healthier built environment.
Throughout the renovation of our interior design and retrofit of building systems, our goal was to create a highly efficient and beautiful space. We achieved this by incorporating LED lighting, high-efficiency water fixtures, refurbished materials, abundant greenery, and biophilic design elements. We also introduced sustainable office practices for our team to further increase efficiency. These environmental and efficiency efforts helped Verdani earn an ENERGY STAR certification with an impressive score of 96! |
