Carli is a writer with a passion for creating evidence-based, thought-provoking, and digestible narratives that empower audiences with knowledge on complex sustainability and ESG topics.

At Verdani, Carli is responsible for spearheading public- and client-facing content deliverables on subjects ranging from net zero strategy to climate change policy, ESG reporting, and sustainable finance. She also serves as the lead author for the Verdani Institute for the Built Environment’s (VIBE) Sustainable Built Environment textbook and whitepaper series. Carli arrived at Verdani with nearly a decade of experience in the sustainability field, working across diverse roles in environmental communication research, environmental planning, marketing, and wetland science. She holds a M.S. degree in Forest Ecosystems and Society from Oregon State University and a B.S. degree in Environmental Science, Policy, and Management from the University of Minnesota.
